July 27th 2015, Bangalore – This month CreditAccess Asia reached one million clients in India. Our operations in India are an important part of our Group. We have been active in the country since our foundation in 2006.
We are proud that through our retail brand we have been able to provide high quality financial services on such a large scale. Our borrowers tend to be very satisfied about our services, and this is reflected by the relatively high client retention rate of 90%. In addition to income generating loans, we provide additional loan products that clients can use to improve their livelihoods in different ways. These include among others education- and health care loans.
While celebrating the achievement of reaching the milestone of one million clients, the local management team is working hard to open new branches and further expand to new states already looking to achieve our goal of reaching two million clients in India in 2020.
